From November 14 to 16, 2025, the 27th China Hi-Tech Fair was held in Shenzhen. CASZM exhibited the ZETTA 3D skin analyzer and demonstrated the complete process from full-face capture to report output on site.
At the Hi-Tech Fair: making skin analysis an experienceable process
At this year's Hi-Tech Fair, the Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Technology (SIAT) of the Chinese Academy of Sciences appeared under the theme "doing the research the country needs most, creating technologies the world has never seen," presenting 125 frontier achievements in the Hall 9 zone for national key equipment and technology giant industry chains.
CASZM is a national high-tech enterprise incubated by SIAT, and its core members come from the institute's Intelligent Design and Machine Vision Laboratory. Since its founding in 2017, the company has focused on the development and transfer of 3D coded structured light capture, medical virtual simulation and related technologies.
At the booth, visitors did not just see a rendering; they could watch the complete process of the device rotating, scanning, modeling, analyzing and producing a report. This approach of putting the whole process on display gave many attendees their first intuitive sense of what 3D skin analysis can do.

ZETTA: from capture to model in 25 seconds
ZETTA is a desktop all-in-one unit that combines high-frequency coded structured light with multispectral imaging. It carries 56-megapixel high-definition texture, with 3D measurement accuracy of ±0.2mm, volume measurement accuracy of ±0.1ml, total scan time under 25 seconds and about 3 seconds per single scan.
On site, this means the subject sits down without repeated posture adjustment, the device completes the surround capture automatically and then generates a textured 3D facial model. Details such as pores, fine lines and pigmentation can be viewed directly on the model.

From scan to report: software connects the data
Hardware solves capture; software solves use. ZETTA's 3D skin analysis system supports multispectral AI detection, image annotation, time-series comparison, local quantitative measurement and report output, and can observe erythema, brown spots, UV spots, wrinkles and pores by layer.
Results can be switched between the original image, false-color map and 3D model; at follow-up, historical records can be recalled to view changes across two sessions. The system runs algorithms locally and keeps data on site, which suits clinics with privacy and network requirements.

This year's Hi-Tech Fair set up a "science and technology achievement supermarket" zone presenting 125 achievements. As one of the exhibits, ZETTA showed a workable path for 3D digital technology in skin analysis: capture, analysis and report, with every step visible.
