CASZM at CITE: Live Demonstration from Full-Face Scan to Analysis Report

From April 9 to 11, 2026, the 14th China Information Technology Expo (CITE) was held at the Shenzhen Convention and Exhibition Center. CASZM exhibited the ZETTA 3D skin analyzer and demonstrated the full process from full-face capture to analysis report on site.

At CITE: from the lab to the booth

Under the theme "new technologies, new products, new scenarios," this year's CITE presented new products and technologies from across the electronic information industry chain. SIAT, as the overall promoting agency for Shenzhen's new-generation information and communications industry cluster, joined national-level new-generation information industry clusters from across China at the expo.

Drawing on SIAT's research platform, CASZM conducts R&D and technology transfer in 3D medical visualization and intelligent aesthetic devices. For the team, CITE is a setting different from hospitals and aesthetic clinics: visitors care more about how the technology is implemented and what problems the device solves.

ZETTA: a complete chain for skin analysis

ZETTA combines high-frequency coded structured light with multispectral imaging and a 56-megapixel imaging system. 3D measurement accuracy is ±0.2mm, volume measurement accuracy ±0.1ml, and total scan time is under 25 seconds.

At the booth, visitors could see full-face scanning, 3D modeling, skin analysis and facial simulation design. The device runs algorithms locally without network dependency and its workflow is relatively short, which suits a trade show that requires continuous demonstrations.

Live demonstrations: what visitors watched

During the expo, the team introduced device performance, application scenarios and operating workflow, and invited guests to try the functions. The most common questions were usually not about accuracy figures but about how the data is used in consultation, whether reports can be taken away, and whether operation requires dedicated training.

These questions point to one fact: the value of a device lies not only in its specifications but in whether it fits a clinic's existing service workflow. ZETTA's automated rotating capture, local processing and report output are designed around that.

From the expo to daily practice: how devices enter clinics

CASZM will continue to improve products and services based on industry needs and to explore 3D digital technology in aesthetic medicine. For clinics, whether to adopt a device ultimately depends on procedure mix, site conditions, staffing and client communication style.
